The pub is well concealed down a long alley where only beer lovers in search of this gem can successfully find it. This Belgian triple packs a big punch at 11% ABV. For this reason the pub owner will only allow any one visitor to order three during a sitting at this historic pub. This beer is brewed by Brouwerij Van Steenberge, famous for other big Belgian ales Piraat and Gulden Draak. The De Garre glass is as distinctive as the beer with a doorknob base and rounded chalice supporting such a big beer. De Garre is brewed using a traditional Belgian triple base with two times the amount of malt which allows the brewer to achieve the 11% ABV.

  Verdon Gorge The Verdon Gorge ( French :  Gorges du Verdon ) is a  river   canyon  located in the  Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur   region  of Southeastern  France . It is about 25 km (15.5 mi) long and up to 700 metres (0.4 mi) deep. It was formed by the  Verdon River , which is named for its turquoise-green colour, one of the location's distinguishing characteristics.   Loire Valley The  Loire Valley   spanning 280 kilometres (170 mi), is a  valley  located in the middle stretch of the  Loire  river in central  France , in both the administrative regions  Pays de la Loire  and  Centre-Val de Loire .
